Hello, Dear Readers! Andi here. In the interest of being good literary citizens here in Beacon, we’re choosing to cancel our upcoming open mic series. We thought offering more opportunities for writers and readers was a good thing, and you all certainly have been asking for it since we opened in 2023, but we realized that September 11th is the first night of Rosh Hashanah, and another open mic night in town moved to the same night. We’ll still hold our Dead Poets Party October 9, and have a great time! Stay safe, touch grass, and we’ll catch you at one of our upcoming book clubs, children’s story times, salons, or just at the shop. Peace and love, Andi & Co
